Saw Incendies this evening (again). i wanted to revisit this film as it’s been nominated for an Academy Award at the US’s Oscars. My first viewing did not leave me with as much of an appreciation (although i did think it was excellent – just not enough to warrant inclusion in such a shortlist). A second viewing affirms for me that it is good enough to make the list. it is extremely strong in many areas such as acting, story, writing. 9/10
