Caught these films recently, they are worth checking out:
Meek’s Cutoff – Settlers traveling through the Oregon desert in 1845 find themselves stranded in harsh conditions.
Starbuck – Some guy discovers he’s the father of 533 children – he’s a sperm donor and there’s been a mixup 😉 142 of his kids have filed a class action lawsuit to determine the identity of their biological father, known only by the pseudonym Starbuck. Cute film which is part comedy part heartwarming story. I particularly enjoyed the fact that Starbuck is an avid soccer fan!
Lourdes – A wheelchair-bound parapelegic makes a life changing journey to Lourdes, the iconic site of pilgrimage in the Pyrenees Mountains. Slow moving but every moment is filmed in authenticity.
