Half of all dogs and cats (3-4 million) brought into shelters each year are euthanized (U.S. Humane Society).

On a trip out west last year, about halfway to salmon arm i came across a wolf education centre and couldn’t resist stopping and spending some time with these beautiful animals. this is maia, she’s missing two of her family members (they are out for a run with their alpha).
