Recently enjoyed The Piano – a wonderful film which i first saw when it was released some 20 years ago. Beautifully shot and a simple story which resonates strongly with the viewer.

Saw Contagion – good attempt to depict a serious epidemic across the planet – minus most of the Hollywood moments (a very good thing). Reminded me a bit of another recent Matt Damon project (Tree of Life) which also offers a somber tone and third-person feel to the scenes. Good movie!
